AI Copilot

Copilot is the cross-workspace AI assistant available from any screen in GrowthOS. It understands your current project and product context, so you can ask a question or request a draft without switching tabs or losing your place.

Copilot is not a replacement for Idea Lab or PRD Studio; it is a fast lane for smaller asks: summarizing a document, drafting a comment, explaining a status, or pointing you to the right screen. Bigger discovery work still belongs in Idea Lab.

Every Copilot answer is grounded in the workspace you are in, so responses reference your real projects, PRDs, and tasks rather than generic advice, as long as you mention the relevant name in your question.

  • Ask quick questions about a project, PRD, or sprint without leaving your current page.
  • Request a draft comment, summary, or status update to paste elsewhere.
  • Get pointed to the right screen or feature for a task you are not sure how to start.
  • Start a fresh thread when you switch topics, so answers stay grounded.
  • You need a quick answer without leaving your current flow.
  • You want a first-draft summary of a PRD, thread, or task before writing your own.
  • You are not sure which screen has the setting or feature you need.
  • A signed-in member account with product access.
  • Enough workspace context (a project or PRD name) for grounded answers.
  • Sidebar: Copilot, or the command palette (Cmd/Ctrl+K)
  • Direct route: /copilot
  1. Open Copilot from the sidebar (/copilot) or the command palette.
  2. Ask a concrete question, for example summarize risks in the latest PRD.
  3. Mention the specific project or PRD name so the answer is grounded correctly.
  4. Review the answer and apply suggested actions, or copy drafts into PRD Studio or a task.
  5. Ask a follow-up in the same thread if you need more detail.
  6. Start a new thread when you switch to an unrelated topic.
  • You get a usable answer or draft without opening a second tool.
  • Copilot references the correct project or PRD by name in its answer.
  • You spend less time hunting for a screen and more time acting on the answer.
  • Mention the project or PRD name explicitly for better grounding.
  • Use Copilot for quick drafts, and PRD Studio or Idea Lab for anything that needs real structure.
  • Clear or start a new thread when switching topics to avoid confusing context.
  • Asking a vague question with no project or PRD name and expecting a specific answer.
  • Using Copilot as a substitute for a full Idea Lab discovery conversation.
  • Continuing an old thread across unrelated topics, which produces confused answers.
